Molex offers compact solution for memory combo card connector Many different format of memory cards have surfaced in recent years. This wide variety of storage medias have given rise the challenge for consumer to have multiple card reader/writer. Molex's 3-in-1 memory combo connector provides the read/write solution with convenience and reliability. It supports the functions of *Memory Stick (MS)/Memory Stick Pro(MS-Pro), *Secure Digital (SD) and *MultiMedia Card (MMC). These cards are widely use in Digital Cameras, PDAs, mobile phones, printers, DVD player and multimedia players and LCD displays. The connector is design with a metal shield to address potential EMI/RFI issues. The ejecting of memory card is done manually from the connector. With a manual eject design, this combo connector provides an economical solution for application manufacturers. A low profile height and compact overall footprint allows it to be use in a very confined space.
